Cookie policy
Last updated:
zeropii sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies and shares no data with ad networks. We only use local storage (localStorage) in your own browser, for the demo and to remember this cookie notice.
What do we store?
| Storage | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
Local storage (localStorage) — pii_guard_lead | Remembers the name, company and email you entered to open the demo, so you don't have to enter them again. Stays in your browser. | Until you clear your browser storage |
Local storage (localStorage) — zeropii-cookies-acknowledged | Remembers whether you've already seen this cookie notice. | Until you clear your browser storage |
Why don't we ask for consent?
Under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (art. 11.7a) and the GDPR, consent is only required for non-essential cookies such as analytics, profiling or advertising. zeropii sets none of those, and the local storage above is purely functional. A consent banner with "accept / reject" is therefore not required. We do show this page and a one-time notice, so you know what is stored.
Managing or deleting storage
You can always clear or block cookies and local storage via your browser settings. If you clear local storage, the demo will ask for your details again.
Will this policy change?
If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will first place a real consent banner with accept and reject as equal options. We will also update this page and the date at the top.
